In 2022 we were granted to build up our Mirror of Things behind a spacious shop window to go public with our project.
For this event a major revision of our hardware concept was developed by NA et al. First of all it needed a new name, since this time we specifically adressed the location of MoT and designed it to be reconfigurable whereever it would be shown in public spaces.
We increased size and luminance intensity to fit into non-controllable lighting situations. The shop window was basically lit from many sides and this required an upgrade in raw power of the LEDs.
Conclusion of the STAMP 2022 Festival in Hamburg showing was, there were so many radio waves present in the shopping mall, where MoT [Site Specific] was installed, that we had to adjust sensitivity of the antenna to a pretty low level to avoid stroboscopic effects throughout the day. Unfortunately, we did no research on how this influenced the shopping behaviour of mall visitors.
With MoT [Site Specific] by NA et al. it is now feasible to interact with a mid-scale (7 x 2.5) m LED-Wall.
